Тропарь, гласъ 1-й. Troparion, in the 1st tone

Во Іорданѣ крещающуся Тебѣ, Господи,
Троическое явися поклоненіе.
Родителевъ бо гласъ свидѣтельствоваше Тебѣ,
возлюбленнаго Тя Сына именуя,
и Духъ, въ видѣ голубинѣ,
извѣствоваше словесе утвержденіе.
Явлейся, Христе Боже,
и міръ просвѣщѣй, слава Тебѣ. 		When Thou, O Lord, wast baptized in the Jordan,
the worship of the Trinity was made manifest.
For the voice of the Father bore witness to Thee,
calling Thee the beloved Son.
And the Spirit, in the form of a dove,
confirmed the truthfulness of His word.
O Christ our God, Who hast revealed Thyself
and hast enlightened the world, glory to Thee!

Явился еси днесь вселеннѣй,
и свѣтъ Твой, Господи, знаменася на насъ,
въ разумѣ поющіе Тя:
пришелъ и явился еси,
Свѣтъ неприступный.

Thou hast appeared today to the inhabited earth,
and Thy light, O Lord, has been marked upon us,
who with knowledge sing Thy praise:
Thou hast come, Thou art made manifest,
the Light that no man can approach.
