Тропарь, гласъ 4-й. Troparion, in the 4th tone

Рождество Твое, Христе Боже нашъ,
возсія мірови свѣтъ разума,
въ немъ бо звѣздамъ служащіи,
звѣздою учахуся
Тебѣ кланятися Солнцу правды,
и Тебе вѣдѣти, съ высоты Востока:
Господи, слава Тебѣ! 		Thy Nativity, O Christ our God,
has shone to the world the light of knowledge,
for by it those who worshipped the stars,
were taught by a star
to adore Thee, the Sun of righteousness,
and to know Thee, the Orient from on high:
O Lord, glory to Thee!

Кондакъ, гласъ 3-й. Kontakion, in the 3rd tone

Дѣва днесь Пресущественнаго раждаетъ,
и земля вертепъ Неприступному приноситъ:
Ангели съ пастырьми славословятъ,
волсви же со звѣздою путешествуютъ:
насъ бо ради родися
Отроча младо, превѣчный Богъ.

The Virgin today gives birth to the Transcendent One,
and the earth offers a cave to the Unapproachable One,
Angels with shepherds glorify Him,
the magi journey with the star:
since for our sake is born
a young Child, the eternal God.
